About the Art
Jin Shin Jyutsu: The Art of the Creator Though Compassionate Man
An art more than 2000 yeaars old, Jin Shin Jyutsu was dramatically revived in the
early 1900's in Japan by Jiro Murai. One of his students, Mary Burmeister, introduced it
to the United States in 1960's, where it quietly has become recognized as an
alternative means to aid in healing in conjuction with taditional Western Medical Care.
Jin Shin Jyutsu brings balance to the body's energy, allowing it to function better and
heal more quickly. The effects are cumulative and frequent applications of these
techniques will greatly facilitate the reductions of stress, tensions and toxins,
which accumulate through normal daily living.
